Beaconly
Beaconly helps children build a record of what they are genuinely interested in and actually did — the activities, the practice, the projects — and turns it into something a parent can see clearly and talk to their child about.
It is not exam preparation, it does not coach for tests, and it is not a Direct School Admission service. A portfolio built here may be useful for a DSA application, but nothing in the product is tuned toward any particular school’s decision, and we make no claim about admissions outcomes.
Where this is up to
Beaconly is in early development. We are working with a small number of design-partner families in Singapore and are not open for general sign-up. There is no public launch date.
How it works, briefly
- A parent holds the account. Children do not get their own login — they use the product through their parent’s session.
- Parents can read their child’s conversations with the AI helper, in full. The one exception: if something a child says suggests they may not be safe at home, that session is withheld from the parent until a person at Beaconly has read it — because showing a disclosure to the wrong adult can put a child at risk.
- Identifying details are stripped out before anything is sent to an AI model — it sees a stand-in nickname, not your child.
- Your child’s data is stored in Singapore and is not stored anywhere else. The AI computation itself is carried out by a secure, encrypted third-party AI infrastructure provider, so a redacted message may be processed on servers outside Singapore; it is encrypted in transit and is not retained there.
